Another start of the Fashion Week bonanza. The Big Apple's fashion showings haven't really knocked my socks off completely, but then again New York is deemed the most commercial of all the capitals, so this is more about wearability on the street than say a big meringue concoction of tulle, corsetry and lace.
First up is Helmut Lang, which had it's first runway show in five years. The look was mostly based on asymmetry and relaxed silhouettes, save for a structured blazer and corset or two.
As this was Lang, the main colour palette was white and black, with room for a splash of yellow here and there.
