Black Swan

I cannot say how I excited I am for December 1st. What's on the first day of the Christmas month you may ask?
The release date of Black Swan, my fellow bloggers. Starring Natalie Portman, Mila Kuns and Vincent Cassel (one of the best "creepy guy" actors out there if that can be seen as a compliment) and directed by Darren Aronofsky, it follows the story of Nina (Portman), a ballerina in a New York City ballet company, who gets the opportunity to be prima ballerina  for the opening production of Swan Lake. But Nina has a rival, Lily (Kunis), who threatens to steal her spot.
Or as the people over at the movie production studios like to say it (imo a lot more poetic than I can explain it):
Swan Lake requires a dancer who can play both the White Swan with innocence and grace, and the Black Swan, who represents guile and sensuality. Nina fits the White Swan role perfectly but Lily is the personification of the Black Swan. As the two young dancers expand their rivalry into a twisted friendship, Nina begins to get more in touch with her dark side - a recklessness that threatens to destroy her.
Not only do I think ballet is an insanely beautiful dance, but guess who is designing the costumes?! Ro-motherfucking-darte. If anyone was made to produce ballet costumes, it's the Mulleavy sisters, me thinks.
You can watch the trailer here. Well, not can...you must. Looks soooo good and intense.
And some promo pics to feast your eyes on.
