Jane "Being An Outsider Is The New Cool" Lane

Is it weird to find fashion inspiration in cartoons? Not if it's Daria in my opinion. Been watching this funny as hell old series obsessively lately. Fits my humour to a T. Anyway Jane Lane's style ain't too shabby if you ask me. Yeah she only wear one outfit the whole time but she wears it well no?

Let's go in for the hair and make-up close up:

Not too bad. Me thinks that with my previous love for dark hair and a swipe of le Russian Red lipstick from MAC...

...plus a Vidal Sassoon-esque bob, the Jane Lane look is totally do-able.

MASH It Up

First of all, thank you everyone for your votes in the poll! Reader feedback fills my little blogger heart with joy.
Okay so deleted blog number two. Nice idea in theory, but I guess it just wouldn't work on the practical side, plus I feel embarrassed to have let my inner geek out.
Moving on (didn't you know that distraction is the best method to let people forget about something?) I have been feeling a lot of nostalgic vibes lately.
Take for example the MASH game. For all you MASH virgins, MASH stands for Mansion, Apatment, Shed and House. You make a list of five boys, five girls, five jobs, ect. basically any shit you can think of. Then you come up with a number (forgot how that part works) and voila, your future is predicted.
That being said, these predictions aren't really precise. I would somehow always end up with the boy I liked the least (I always made sure to smuggle in the name of a boy I was secretly crushing on at that moment), in the shittiest house and working as a stripper.
I just think the game is hella fun. Plus I found an online version (oh the cyber world we live in, don't fuck with the classics y'all! Just kidding) for those feeling a little scribble lazy. Here it is..
MASH night has to happen sometime soon me thinks, preferably with copious amounts of vodka and pajamas.
Have fun with it and don't drink too much naughty Kool-Aid kids!

Prada Infusion D' Iris

I want that big bottle of Prada perfume Lara's got in front of her.  I am a really big fragrance fanatic, I find perfume to be like a symphony of different accords (uhm except that you smell them with your nose instead of hearing them. I have a really big nose so the smelling part is pretty easy for me).
Oh right, getting off track with my weird sense of humour. So, anyway, I did actually wear this perfume in the summer (I find summer fragrances so much harder to find then winter ones. It has to be light but not too light. Fresh but not too fresh. Whereas during the winter I can just spray on Tom Ford's Black Orchid and call it a day.)
This one is fresh but not too citrusy (hate that), light but still manages to be interesting.
Oh and just in case you are as much of a fragrance freak as I am, here is the composition of the fragrance:

Top Notes: Galbanum, Mandarin Orange, Orange Blossom, Lentisk
Heart Note: Iris, Cedar, Vetiver
Base Notes: Benzoin, Frankincense

So Stam-orous

I love Jessica Stam (although in my eyes no one can touch Natalia, Sasha, Gemma or Kate). And with those cat eyes and perfectly symmetrical features how could you not?

Hi everybody,
I have just created a second blog : What's Your Story.
Basically the idea is that anyone can post a short story bit, connected with the one someone before you has posted. You can either email me to become an author on the blog or just leave your story bit in the comments section and I'll post it for you.
Hope you guys like the idea.
The address is http://post-your-story.blogspot.com/

I Do Love Myself Some Acoustic Guitar Songs

Muse Magazine

Bianca Balti photographed by Fabio Raineri and styled by Zoe James.
Wish I could look this hot lounging around, but unfortunately for me it's all oversized T-shirts and sweatpants. Yeah, real sexy, I know.

Numéro #111 March 2010

Hey ladies (and guys) don't forget to put in your own $/£/€ 0.02 in the poll on the right. Thanks!
Now, I don't know how I missed these amazing pictures of Magdalena Frackowiak by Greg Kadel, but somehow I did. I do love me some black and white photography every now and then. Do you prefer either one of the two (black&white or colour photographs)?
Me thinks it depends on the pictures themselves, I do feel like black and white lends a certain timelessness to say a portrait photograph (the David Yurman ads!), but in some pics the colour is what gives it that extra oomph. Can't really decide.
